Are you registered to vote? Do you want to change your party, your address, your name? Use this Voter Registration Tool to guide you quickly through the process. Or you can download a registration fill-in form from the NYS Board of Elections: Complete English Form On-line ( 2,370KB) or Complete Spanish Form On-Line ( 596KB). You can download an English or Spanish form to complete by hand well from the NYSBOE
(In each case, to complete the voter registration process, you must fill out the form on-line or manually AND print, sign and mail or hand deliver the form to your local Board of Elections office. Click HERE to check for filing deadlines.)

Ulster County Charter Revision
"The Ulster County Charter Commission was authorized by the County Legislature in Resolution #247 on August 12, 2004 in an objective and nonpartisan manner to prepare studies of alternative structures and processes to identify best practices for potential adoption by Ulster County."
The Commission has completed its mission and the draft approved by the County Legislature was submitted to, and approved by, the voters at the general election held November 7, 2006.
On November 4th, Ulster County voters will elect their first ever County Executive and Comptroller. For more information, read our Ulster County's Charter Officers informational guide. You may want to attend one or more of the forums or candidate events listed in the guide. Be sure to check our Calendar page for additional and updated information.
National Elections
The public is invited to attend DebateWatch 2008 at SUNY New Paltz. Presented by the Commission on Presidential Debates, this is a program designed to solicit public opinion and reaction about the televised presidential debates. Watch the debates on a large projection screen with a group of citizens who will gather on the SUNY New Paltz campus. You will then have the opportunity to discuss the debate and express your viewpoint about its outcomes.
The program is sponsored by the SUNY New Paltz Center for Research, Regional Education and Outreach (CRREO); the SUNY Communication & Media Society; Lambda Pi Eta - Communications Honor Society; and the League of Women Voters of the Mid-Hudson Valley.
